The hotel is comprised of two buildings, the Bauer Hotel which is modern, and the Bauer Il Palazzo which is more traditional in its architecture, very much in keeping with the Venetian style. The reception and public areas are all in the new part of the hotel, they are elegantly and sumptuously furnished. The main lounge area consists of a large marble floor with a large rug, curtain drapes cover the walls and there is an intimate group of armchairs, surrounded by low coffee tables.
