Built in traditional Bahraini style architecture, this property consists of numerous brown castle like buildings - the centre piece being the large swimming pool, pool bar, leisure facilities and priovate beach. As this is all low rise there is a spacious feel to the resort. This is a unique hotel in Bahrain. The hotel really concentrates on being a 'resort' - and the excellent facilities, lack of noise, good outlets and excellent service help it to succeed to becoming the best hotel in its category in Bahrain. The only slightly negative point would be that the corridors are open-air; therefore in the summer waling outside of the rooms can feel a little uncomfortable. This new property is located on the causeway linking Manama and the island on which the airport is situated; the business and diplomatic area is less than a 5 minutes drive and the airport is under 10 minutes. Due to being surrounded by water this is an extremely sought after and relaxing location. Rooms are all large in size and are kept cool with the stone and marble which dominates their design. All rooms have balconies, many with stunning views. Rooms are Arabic in design and are quiet and in very good condition as are the bathrooms. Please note that this hotel does NOT have twin bedded rooms - i.e. bedrooms for 2 people with split beds. Only large double beds are available with an extra bed in the lounge.
